Members Welcome Letter
We are an all volunteer run, 9-Hole Handicap league. Our membership is open to all women who are available to play competitive golf on Thursday mornings from April through October, 7:00am – 10:00am, at Bellevue Municipal Golf Course. Last year our club had 139 members. Although our competition is based on 9-Hole play, many of our members play a regulation round of 18 each week. We welcome both experienced players and those new to the game. In order to be eligible for competition, all players need to have a WSGA GHIN number and handicap on record. Part of your dues for our club ($28 goes to the GHIN system) will set you up with a GHIN number. For your comfort it is recommended that you are able to play 9 holes under 75 consistently (and yes…that includes all whiffs, miss-hits, lost balls, and no GIMMIES.) Although we welcome new golfers, this recommendation helps us avoid slow play and insures that all members are comfortable with the rules of golf and the game in general.
